What is Colostrum?
Colostrum is the pre-milk fluid produced from the mother's mammary glands during the first 72 hours after birth. It provides life-supporting immune and growth factors that insure the health and vitality of the newborn.
Why do we need Colostrum?

Plant sterols are present naturally in small quantities in many fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, cereal, legumes, vegetable oils, and other plant sources. Plant stanols occur in even smaller quantities in many of the same sources. Both stanols and sterols are essential components of plant cell membranes and structurally resembling cholesterol. Foods supplemented with plant sterols may reduce cholesterol and are a promoting addition to interventions aimed at lowering heart disease risk.
